This film is three hours of rambling semi-coherent stories starring mostly C-list actors. It's even got a fair bit of gratuitous nudity, but despite all that, it's brilliant. The juxtaposition of ordinary folk having what seems to them (mostly) humdrum experiences yet being utterly mesmerising to the audience is what makes this a classic.
