I wouldnt call it a modern romance but there are certain scenes that are remarkably romantic. Definitely not the sex scenes, I like Mirabelle taking her own picture in the wilderness; the starry sky; the farewell between Ray and Mirabelle outside the gallery.
..and of course, like the movie suggested, it was life...
