This is the most violent film I've ever seen. With that being said, of course- I loved it. Clive Owen was a perfect fit for this role. Between his calm and quiet demeanor and his intense stares, no one else could have played the nihilistic Mr.

Smith that well. Shoot 'Em Up, however, isn't a movie for everyone. Let that be my disclaimer. It's violent, it's funny, it's transgressive to the bone and most of the action sequences featured Clive Owen shooting dozens of bad guys while holding a baby under his arm like a football.

For some this would mean the movie was bad, for me it meant the movie was extremely entertaining.
