Review of Shoot 'Em Up (2007) by Alan J — 21 May 2010
This is a fun movie people, and not meant to be taken seriously as some cime drama. The gun play is nonstop, and the violence is almost cartoonish. Owen chomps on carrots, alluding to the Bugs Bunny character in my opinion.
Giamatti plays the Elmer Fudd character adequately. Bellucci is the eye candy. The ploy of using a newborn throughout the film is a not so gentle nod to John Woo's "Hard Boiled" hospital scenes.
If you like shoot'em ups, this is your cup of tea!
