SHOLAY (FLAMES) - 1975 - An absolute classic of Indian cinema. An Eastern "Western" with Action, Suspense, Comedy, Buddy Pic, Romance, Slapstick...everything and then some. The locations are spectacular - the action is intense.
Great songs. Stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Sanjeev Kumar, Amjad Khan, Hema Malini and Jaya Bhaduri (Mrs. Bachchan). Reportedly, SRK's favorite film. Good enough for me.
