I loved seeing this at the Grindhouse Film Festival. Made me and my dad track down the Baby Cart films on DVD and go nuts with that. This may not be the ideal way to see the films, but it's not the kind of "compilation/re-edit" that ruins the content. The greatness of the two movies does shine through.
Funny story about this film, when I saw it at said Festival, the print was actually from the 80s. It was not restored (although I must say, it had not tinted at all, the colors were perfect and the lighting fantastic), it was covered in scratches...20 minutes into the film the reel breaks and the screen goes black. Being that this was at a "Grindhouse Film Festival"....the audience applauds. ;D.
