Review of Shockproof (1949) by Eric R — 27 Oct 2009
An interesting thriller written by Samuel Fuller and directed by Douglas Sirk. It is a really odd combination as you get Fuller's gritty raw attitude mixed with Douglas Sirk's melodrama but it actually works quite well.
The film doesn't have any real hero or villain but rather focuses on the various character's emotions, which send them down certain paths.
