Review of Shock Treatment (1981) by Ariel P — 11 Jul 2012
Though described as many as a sequel to Rocky Horror, Shock Treatment is more of a companion piece. A prophecy of the reality shows to come, it follows Brad and Janet Majors through a little bump in their marriage when a charismatic man named Farley Flavors arrives in Denton (a town that has confused TV with reality) with a lust for money and fame that is equaled only by his lust for Janet.
With help from two doctors named Cosmo and Nation McKinley and a couple of TV shows called "Marriage Maze" and "Dentonvale", Farley soon has Brad under lock and key.
