Review of Shock Treatment (1973) by Steve W — 24 Jan 2011
Great songs, great movie. As a 'sequel' to Rocky Horror, it proves itself to be on par with its predecessor, and another audience participation classic. While Rocky tended to crawl along, Shock Treatment moves along lightning quick, ditching the RHPS motif of slower tunes and dark colors for bright shiny 80's sets and high-energy songs.
Thankfully, this is out on DVD, so sample it when you can. Ignore the haters and form your own opinion.
