Review of Shinjuku Incident (2009) by Jess G — 30 Mar 2009
Saw this last night it was AWESOME Jackie Chan is a brilliant actor and he's outdone himself in this one. Deals with some pretty intense issues (illegal immigrants, drugs, Tokyo gang warfare etc) with real substance. Plus it had some great subtle comic touches that only Jackie Chan could pull off. Not for the faint-hearted but to me the gore made it all the more real - a must see!!
PS: Even though it was in Japanese and Chinese (spoken) with english subtitles, it wasn't even remotely confusing!! This one is yet another in a line of great movies to come out of China recently...
