Review of Shinjuku Incident (2009) by Elicia M — 12 Apr 2009
This was the second movie where I saw Jackie Chan playing serious and not comedy, but I love it. I love the movie, a realistic portrayal of the chinese immigrants and yakuza. The story is quite detailed but the transition is okay (not the best, but it doesn't make the storyline hard to follow).
I love the cinematography and the directing. The ending is sad, but well many good stories end sadly anyway...there are some graphic violence shown though.
