Review of Shinjuku Incident (2009) by Kipeng S — 20 Apr 2009
For once, Jackie Chan relinquishes the "power" as a fighting / martial arts star in a movie, but still, his role cannot leave the image as a loyal, brotherly and good man. So, it's a breakthrough.
On the other hand, Daniel Wu impresses the audience with acting during the transition of his life from gd to bad. He shirks the good-looking boy image and was able to convince me with his acting as a commoner.
Like the fast-pace and the "love-hate" relationship between the cop and "Steelhead". All in all, a dark, violent and nerve-racking show.
