Review of Shinjuku Incident (2009) by Brock A — 19 Jul 2009
Quite a decent effort by Jackie Chan in the acting stakes. Hell I would prefer to watch him take out a few gangsters the old Jackie Chan style but its not to be in this film. Quite a serious subject matter about illegal Chinese immigrants in Japan and their battle to survive. Its no where in the league of the film 'Protege' with Andy Lau and I think Daniel Wu as well from memory but still a decent film with a superb HK cast.
Special mention to Daniel Wu - really enjoying anything hes involved in and Bingbing Fan, wow - shes absolutely gorgeous.
Just remember NO JACKIE CHAN MARTIAL ARTS IN THIS FILM!!!!
