Review of Shinjuku Incident (2009) by Cécil V — 16 Oct 2010
Chinese immigrant Jackie Chan is caught up in triad gang wars when he comes to the defense of one of his friends. Decent enough gangster film full of the usual stuff such as ambition, love and betrayal.
Jackie is the star here as he comes to terms with his girlfriend's disappearance and the willingness to support his brothers against mob bosses. More of less a Jackie Chan version of a convoluted "Young and Dangerous" storyline.
