Review of Shine a Light (2008) by Ann S — 11 Oct 2009
As rockumentaries go, this one is very lame. doesn't have the mega-stadium excitement of "u2-3d", the psychological drama of "some kind of monster" nor the get-inside-the-musicians-head journey of "it might get loud".
like the latter, it just about gets stolen by Jack White. This is one to have playing in the background while you do the housework (except for "brown sugar" which shows jagger doing his stuff to the nth degree).
