Review of Shine (1996) by Gio H — 20 Oct 2007
The script is well-written but you have to be in the mood to enjoy the film. I guess I wasn't in the mood. I did enjoy some scenes that were interesting, all of the scenes with Armin Mueller-Stahl, and Geoffrey Rush did a fine job but I wasn't into the story all that much.
Perhaps individuals who play or are fans of piano music would appreciate this film more but as for me, I wasn't all that interested.
