Fun, innovative, and surprisingly fresh, Godzilla Resurgence is easily the best modern Japanese Godzilla movie ever. The CGI is incredible, making the monster honestly look real. Godzilla himself is not only a unique visual take on the monster, he's also the biggest version of Godzilla ever - even bigger than the 2014 American Godzilla.

While the 2014 American film may be slightly better, this is easily the best 2016 film with the word "Resurgence" in the title *cough cough Independence Day cough cough*.
