Review of Shifty (2008) by Andrew B — 25 Apr 2009
Shot for £100.000 as pat of a london film program, a very good piece of british cinema, as daniel mays plays a young man who got out of london and headed to manchester, who comes back to see his best buddy played by riz ahmed, living life as a drug dealer, here we spend the day watching there friendship and events that could ruin there day, daniel mays who was exellent in vera drake, the bank job and a little role in atonement, is exellent as is riz ahmed, the story flows well, and although nothing original, its well handled.
