Review of Sherrybaby (2006) by Caesar M — 30 Nov 2007
I rented this movie on the basis that Maggie G had received excellent reviews. It's a very sad film, realistic and fantastical in turns. It charts the rehabilitation of a drugs offender, her attempts to bond with her daughter, stay clean and escape the ghosts of her past.
This isn't an easy film to watch and if you like endings that tie up all the ends then this isn't for you. Otherwise, take a look.
