Maggie Gyllenhaal is a credit to her profession. 'Sherrybaby' made me see all the pain and struggles that people who have drug addictions, or other vices have to face. It was very touching and heart wrenching to see her try, succeed and fail and still keep going.
You never know what led someone to the place where they are. This movie gives you a little taste of that.
