A stirring tale of a woman fresh from prison who thinks the world has wronged her and owes her everything.
Through the film she realises that she's owed exactly what she's been given and it's heartbreaking watching her come to that realisation.
Along the way you get to see Maggie Gyllenhaal topless far too many times as her character tries to come to grips with how to live without using sex to get what she wants.
Heavy stuff indeed.
