Despite good performances from Downey Jr , Jude Law and Jarred Harris , Guy Ritchie's Sherlock sequel is not as convincing as the first chapter and also a far less thrilling plot than the first one .
The super slow motion bullet camera shots was absolutely unnecessary for Sherlock Holmes and was ultimately quite distracting . The over indulgence in the action depth strays more and more from the character of Sherlock Holmes and makes him more "James Bond " of the 19th century.
