Review of Sherlock Holmes (2009) by Shaun J — 30 Nov 2013
At times, it just seems like a generic thriller set in the late 1800's rather than a film based on the greatest detective, and it is sometimes hard to keep up with what's happening. However, I thought Guy Ritchie's style worked well for the film, and with thanks to a stellar cast including Robert Downey Jr, Jude Law and Rachel McAdams, and some very intricate and well planned twists, Sherlock Holmes is an awful lot of fun.
