Review of Shelter (2007) by Joakim Z — 07 Apr 2008
I am still thinking about this movie days after I saw it, and found it not to be "just another gay movie". Rowe, Wright and Holmes (Rowe's "sister") are very good, their performances very believeable.
Nice photography with surfing scenes, even the bridge and port cranes of San Pedro have a beauty to them. Being what it is, a theatrical small-release and TV movie, I think it is a remarkable work. I hope to see more from Markowitz, Wright and Rowe in the future.
