Review of She Wore a Yellow Ribbon (1949) by Anya S — 24 May 2011
As I have said before I am not a fan of westerns, so this movie is no exception. I did not like this movie, I felt that there was no point in the whole thing. If I had to pick a favorite part it would be the overly choreographed bar fight.
To be honest that part did put a smile on my face. What really got me was that they titled this movie She Wore a Yellow Ribbon and the movie really had nothing to do with the girl; in a strange way I felt deceived being led to believe that there was actually going to be more to this movie besides cowboys going out and fighting Indians.
I guess I should have learned my lesson with the first couple westerns, but I guess I need to come back multiple times to the same genre hoping for a different response from myself. Insanity; how do I plead? Guilty.
..I guess.
