Review of Shattered Glass (2003) by Josh V — 15 Sep 2007
Impressive performances here--and a great script. I watched this movie in a creative writing class while learning about ethics in journalism. The story captivated me; not only that he got caught, but that he could get away with lying for so long, is what really interested me.
It's strange how our sympathies for a man can change. We start out admiring Stephen Glass, but through the movie we can see his lies unravel and by the end we, as an audience, feel betrayed by the character.
