Review of Shattered Glass (2003) by Andy J — 04 Apr 2008
As a movie about journalism, it's just about perfect. Stephen Glass is the New Republic's young star reporter who gets in trouble when it's discovered that he may have made up part of his recent article.
Turns out it goes much deeper and the movie takes us through the whole process of getting a story together as well as the editing process. Incredible and interesting, it also proves that Hayden Christensen is not quite as bad as people think he is, though the real standout is Peter Sarsgaard as the young editor forced to deal with Stephen's illegal and unethical actions.
