Review of Shattered Glass (2003) by Jebus C — 28 Oct 2009
Proof that Anakin Skywalker could actually act...just opted to be somewhat wooden during the Star Wars prequels. Hayden Christensen has been written off by many because of his poor acting performances during the Star Wars prequel trilogy but Shattered Glass gives us an unusally strong insight into his acting skills.
Playing slimey, two-faced bullshitter/reporter Stephen Glass he's able to give us the charming side of his persona followed by the squirming bastard who'll do anything to defend himself against what he perceives are the evils of the world.
Which is much the same as Anakin Skywalker. If only he'd had the freedom to play Anakin like this he might not have been so derided for his performances.
