Review of Sharkwater (2006) by Mark W — 24 Jun 2007
I'm surprised Keanu Reeves took an uncredited role in this.
Seriously though, this beautiful and dramatic documentary left me with a few strong thoughts:
-It perpetuated my disgust with the Asian consumer fueled snake-oil industry.
- Bile bears, dog-hair jackets, and now this: I was unaware of the pervasiveness and cruelty behind this. I mean, I can get shark fin soup in Chinatown; that's horrible!
-Greenpeace is underappreciated. They deserve a UN supported fleet of international water police. What insanely dedicated and admirable people.
Also, guy has a killer bod, and a well packed speedo.
