Review of Sharkwater (2006) by Derek A — 29 Jun 2007
Can a grossly flawed movie still be important? God yes. Cornball directing and cornballier narration shouldn't stop you from heading into the water. Watching Rob Stewart fall in love with sharks is at times downright irritating, but if you can get past the first half hour you'll find the "Inconvenient Truth" of the fish world.
You'll see terrorists threaten Galapagos Tortoises, an inside look at cartilaginous organized crime, and a few poignant scenes that might even make you forget about "Jaws." No excuses.
