Review of Sharkwater (2006) by Andrew R — 30 Nov 2009
More than a review this is WARNING SIGN to everyone and a calling call to the people of the world BY KILLING SHARKS WE ARE KILLING OURSELVES ( NOT JOKING ).
Despite de lack of narrative in this documentary I must say that THE PASSION which portraited Steward in this film is Unforgetable. It success comes from that PASSION for the sharks, showing you the horrific benefits of killing shark .
I was Blown away by the ignorance of people towards shark, ( Spoiler alert ) especially by the costa rican government, how could a self called CONTRY be run underground by a china industry ? I was impress by that fact, I mean, where is the pride of your contry, where is the nationalism ? It's better for the costa rican government to take a bow to china and become geografically a part of china, that way at least the will have a sense of nationalism, I was sick by the government of that contry, thank god the citizen are way more intelligent and are taking matters in to their hands .
Sometimes to make a good film you don't have to be a prodige, you only need the passion that drives you to make something important, and that is what SHARKWATER is and important documentary that show you the sick world in which we live in, and also show you that sharks are not the monster that JAWS make you think they are, sharks are one of the most important animals in the planet and we are killing them so fast and nobody is taking matter into hands ... it's not to late.
If you haven't seen this documentary yet PLEASE see it , and after that tried to show it to as many people as you can is the only way we can do something about it .
