Review of Sharkwater (2006) by Stephen O — 24 Jun 2008
Excellent documentary about the hunt after sharks that we all support by stereotyping them as evil, mean, aggressive - only think of the "Der Weisse Hai". Stewart gives facts and all of them interesting and probably as new to you as they were to me: shy animals that you can dive with like similar to the company of dolphins, the sharks' finns being a treat in China (they hunt, kill them and trow them back into the water alive but with no means to survive!), an endangered species, most important members of the food chain without them we won't have air to breathe on earth! .
.. incredibly beautiful pics of the underwater world and therefore worth seeing not only for political reasons, but also for the beauty of the ocean's creatures.
