Review of Sharkwater (2006) by Christopher K — 05 Apr 2013
Probably the first movie I have ever seen that made me honestly think about my personal attitudes towards sharks and other major predators, and just how vital these creatures are towards maintaining a balance in the world. Man is such a fucking arrogant creature, and we need to be ashamed of our relationship with the world.
"However interesting the situations, deserves a more objective perspective.".
Really @William G? And where will you find this allegedly more objective film on sharks? Even Jacques Cousteau's episode on sharks was filmed in a way to make everyone look daring and brave while sitting in cages and salting the water with blood. They made a feeding frenzy look like an everyday thing :P.
"Faintly egotistical biologist-turned-filmmaker Rob Stewart...".
And what have done @Derek Adams from Time Out, that makes YOU think that your opinion is any more valid than Rob Stewart's? He sat there for four years making this movie. For Gosh! sake man, you're a critic. Next to lawyers you're the most despised profession on the planet.
