Review of Shark Tale (2004) by Tyler M — 17 May 2010
While Shark Tale is not the worst animated film ever made, it's pretty bad. Despite a few humorous moments and a great Will Smith performance, this still couldn't save it. Everything from references to R-rated Godfather movies which 99% of young kids won't get, the Italian stereotypes, Lenny 'being a vegetarian' being a cliche of being gay, and Oscar's "love interest" is known as a gold digger and is much too sexy for a kid's show. And, to top it off, it's a rip-off the wonderful Finding Nemo.
Honestly, what was DreamWorks thinking when they came up with this movie?
