Review of Shark Night 3D (2011) by Stefan K — 16 Apr 2012
It's not a complete train wreck. The acting was actually surprisingly good given the horrible dialog they were given to read (though there was a notable exception...Chris Zylka). The CGI was uneven (as were the few practical shots).
The opening shot was an homage to Jaws and it was actually an excellent demonstration of the current generation of directors biggest mistake. Confusing quick edits for action. If you have any talent, you can let a shot play out and not look like a Wang Chung video.
