Review of Shanghai Knights (2003) by Joshua M — 01 Apr 2010
Unlike most sequels, this film is actually better than its predecessor. Now, instead of a martial arts western comedy, it's a martial arts adventure comedy- which is actually more marketable. Plus the storyline is better, and I love that they have more characters from history in the film (i.
E. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Charlie Chaplin, etc.). With the addition of Donnie Yen, the martial arts scenes are superb.
