Shanghai Knights delivers on entertaining fight scenes on Chan's behalf and some light-mooded laughs brought in by Wilson. However, it lacks any substantial plot and is just another product of the Hollywood machine that spits out these light-hearted no-brainers for the mere reason of making money.
It is easily one of those movies that will never be remembered for anything. It has nothing special and is just another dvd case.
