Review of Shane (1953) by Scott E — 02 Oct 2008
An amazing story. It is a really good movie, but the second half really drags. It is rated so high because Van Heflin's Joe Starrett character is one of the greatest in all of film and the amazing final scene.
It also works so beautifully as seen through the boy's eyes. If you haven't seen it, see it.
