Review of Shane (1953) by Nathan N — 13 Feb 2009
The perfect action movie. The tension builds from beginning to end. A reluctant hero that makes a tough, heartbreaking decision to return to the trappings of his old life. A beautiful setting with the Tetons range painted in techni-color brilliance.
And by the end your foaming at the mouth for the final confrontation wth a nasty, snake-like young Jack Palance.
