Review of Shane (1953) by A B — 25 Feb 2005
I read the book earlier this year for school and thought it might be nice to also view the movie. I imagined everything totally different than the director did so that may have changed my view on the movie a little bit. The pace seemed to go a little slow but some parts of the film were still enjoyable. I wouldn't want to see it again but it was alright the first time.
Shane a man trying to get away from his old life comes to a valley in alabama and meet up with Joe Starret and his family. Throughout the movie they try to get rid of Ryker, while having many other conflicts inbetween.
