A strange film even for Ashby, but wrapped in a seemingly normal package of a day (election day 1968) in the life of an unfaithful and and prolific L.A. hair stylist played by Beatty, the more Ashby I watch the more things it seems like Wes Anderson has lifted from him.
..anyway, I was pleased to be able to see a 35mm print of this.
