Review of Shampoo (1975) by Masorad ( — 09 May 2010

Okay Hal Ashby film starring Warren Beatty as a hairdresser who has sex with all of his female customers and tries to get money to open his own shop during the 68 Election. There are some funny moments throughout, I thought it got better in the second half, a lot of it due to Jack Warden.

But I don't know, I wasn't really into this one, it could have been much better. I'm a bit confused as to why Lee Grant won the Oscar for this, she had a couple funny bits, but she didn't stand out among the female cast.

Plus she sort of had a tantrum then just left, no real great moments. Not amazing, not awful.
