Review of Shame (2011) by Shantel D — 22 Aug 2012
This is one of those movies that tells you a story while making you uncomfortable on purpose. Fassbender actually made me feel sorry for a sex addict. It reminded me of the feeling I got when I watched "Blue Valentine".
.. kind of hopeless - you wish someone would take their hand and help them. It's very sad, and you really want to see what happened in his and his sister's lives to lead them to such a poor state.
This is so depressing, it completely sucks the fun out of seeing Fassbender's ween (A LOT) during the film.
