Review of Shame (2011) by Dion H — 07 Sep 2012
Shame puts me on a lot of thoughts, one of them is that addiction is a destructive force, it puts you on a loop, and it drives you mad. Shame introduces us with Brandon, his addictions with sex and the consequences he has to live with.
Both the director and Michael Fassbender drive the movie to a point where it's too dirty to watch, but you begin to sympathize the sore relationship between Brandon and his sister, Sissy. Michael Fassbender successfully portrays the introverted Brandon, I won't hesitate to watch it again just for him.
4 out of 5!
