Review of Shame (2011) by Austin C — 29 Sep 2012
This film dips into a crucible that is always simmering, and yet it feels cold. It accomplishes anxiety while keeping the director's fancy for long continuous shots as opposed to many camera angles along with much more.
McQueen takes his time while Fassbender and Mulligan provide stellar performances.
