Review of Shame (2011) by Carlos G — 16 Jan 2014
A tragic tale told wonderfully by Steve McQueen and portrayed Michael Fassbender as Brandon. Though I personally thought the dialogue in some instances is just a bit weak, the story and way this man is sadly deeping within such a sexual addiction is heart breaking to the viewers.
The character of Sissy (Brandons burden of a sister) portrayed by the all ways lovely Carey Mulligan elevating the films value with her portrayal. Though McQueens films has very little replay value based on their way of making the audience uncomfortable effectively to bring the messages across to them.
One viewing is very much worth the time however and very well acted and directed.
