Review of Shame (2011) by Eduardo P — 30 Jan 2013
Michael Fassbender plays Brandon, a seemingly successful thirty-something who works as an advertising executive and lives in an apartment in New York City. Inside this polished young man, however, lives someone who is cold and distances himself from others as he struggles with a secret sexual addiction.
Shame offers great acting and filmmaking, and a truthful depiction of fear of intimacy and emotional responsibility.
