Review of Shame (2011) by Asa B — 27 Sep 2014
Sublime narrative on the dark side of human emotions and addiction. Not only one of the most well made films I have seen in a while, but also one of the most emotional. While it carries an NC-17 rating, this film proves to be utterly realistic and confidently raw.
Plot, cinematography, acting, and score all receive highest marks. McQueen and Fassbender prove their talent.
