Review of Shallow Grave (1994) by Lyle R — 30 Sep 2011
Great thriller from Danny Boyle. A group of 3 flatmates get a new roomate but when something shit happens, the friends find themselves with a shitload of cash and inevitably, some problems. What follows is some great twists and turns as greed, envy, paranoia and danger set in.
This is one of Boyles early films, coming out in 1994 but you can see what a talent he was back then and the performances from Ewan McGregor and Christopher Eccleston also showed great potential. Shallow Grave is a great thriller with elemants of horror and black comedy and is well worth a look if you haven't seen it.
