Review of Shakespeare in Love (1998) by Jason L — 19 Nov 2009

This movie speaks for its self. With 13 Oscar nominations and 7 wins, it is a beautifully written and directed film. The tale of how the story of Romeo & Juliet came to be hit the mark, as touching and heartbreaking in much the same ways as the famous Shakespeare tragedy.

The set and costume designs are stunning, and it has some fantastic scores by Stephen Warbeck. It?s one of those movies that?s hard to not love.
